FIAT presented the renewed Ducato: More modern, more advanced and more economical

Due to the rich range of versions, easy handling, practically designed interior, engine and advanced safety features, Ducato has been a reliable partner for many craftsmen and entrepreneurs for 43 years. It is now available in a new edition.

The Fiat Ducato, the brand’s most successful model and the leading light delivery vehicle in Europe, boasts exceptional flexibility and advanced solutions. It can be adapted into a mobile workshop or arranged for the transport of larger loads. It offers 8 cargo space volume options, including up to 17 m³, and is characterized by a load capacity of up to 2.2 tons (depending on the version and additional equipment), a cargo space length of up to 4.07 m, steering with a loading floor, connecting on the road with the most modern infotainment systems, advanced safety systems to help the driver and the possibility of additional conversions. The optimal ratio of performance and weight ensures excellent dynamic driving and comfort.

Ducato is available in two lengths: L1 (4.4 m) and L2 (4.75 m). The version with a longer CrewCab body boasts a unique system of modularity between the seat and cargo area, which is made possible by an innovatively designed sliding partition.

The new, redesigned Ducato offers a wide range of engines that meet the different needs and requirements of users. The reliable third-generation MultiJet diesel engines are at the very top of their class in terms of performance and durability, which has earned Ducat many international awards and a reputation in the world of commercial vehicles. Built on the exclusive architecture of the Stellantis Group H3 propulsion system, MultiJet3 engines take advantage of previous generations and deliver improved efficiency by reducing mass (for greater payload) and fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Their durability is also greater, which is an important characteristic of an engine intended for use in heavy light delivery vehicles.

The redesigned Ducato is available with 88 kW (120 hp), 103 kW (140 hp) and 132 kW (180 hp) engines and a 6-speed manual transmission – available on all power variants – and an 8-speed automatic transmission, which is available in versions with 103 kW (140 hp) and 132 kW (180 hp). The range is completed by heavy-duty engines with the three highest powers and manual and automatic gearboxes, which maintain the same torque as the light models – 450 Nm for the most powerful engine, the largest in its class.

The electric version is equipped with a new 110 kWh battery for the best experience without emissions in the class, thanks to an autonomy of up to 420 km in the WLTP cycle and from 0-80% charge in less than an hour, thanks to a fast charger of up to 150 kW, making it the most powerful E -Twenty in its category.

The Ducato is equipped with advanced level 2 ADAS systems that contribute to greater traffic safety and enable stress-free driving. Standard features include intelligent cruise control, driver fatigue detection system, automatic emergency braking system with pedestrian detection, enhanced electronic stability control system, trailer stability control system, lane departure warning system, reversing camera, reversing camera.

In the renewed version, the Ducato stands out for its focus on technology and connectivity, as well as refreshing the exterior and interior. The fully digital 7-inch instrument panel inside the cabin provides a clear display of information and warnings – from satellite navigation to driver assistance systems – and offers customizable settings and connectivity to the Uconnect infotainment system. In this way, the vehicle can be optimally adapted to the driver’s requirements. In addition, there are new Uconnect system interfaces with a screen up to 10 inches, a premium fully satellite navigation system that includes 3D TomTom maps and wireless connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto™ systems.

The seats also have a more modern look, have new upholstery and offer more space and comfort. The electric power steering, which is part of the standard equipment in the entire range, is more precise and manageable in all driving conditions and under all loads. A smaller steering wheel with a smaller turning circle redefines the concept of comfort in the redesigned cabin, which improves ergonomics and reduces stress for the driver and passengers with increasingly demanding work duties.

The front of the new Ducato is bolder, with the familiar Fiat emblem in the middle. The radiator grille, engine housing and chassis protection have also been redesigned. Front lights with Full LED technology are divided into three parts – the lower one with positional LED lights, the central lights have a very sporty look and provide 30% more illumination than conventional halogen headlights, and the upper part is dedicated to the indicators, which have been refreshed with LED lights with a slider – an attractive effect that is increasingly common in passenger cars, but is now also available in delivery vehicles.

Refurbished FIAT Ducatos are already available in Bosnia and Herzegovina with a Fiat Pro bonus in the amount of 2,000 KM and a 5-year warranty.
